Sewing Machine Servicing

Bek has completed sewing machine servicing training for domestic lockstitch model sewing machines and overlockers. These are the standard machines used in the home for personal sewing, She initially undertook this training just to service her own domestic machines upon realising that there were no local service providers in the Orange area. Upon completing the course, Bek would now like to share these skills with her community. In order to properly care for your clothes, people must also be able to access appropriate care for their machines. Similar to a car, a sewing machine should be regularly serviced (depending on how often it is used) to maintain performance. If unsure, once a year is a good guide.

Bek is able to provide service for domestic lockstitch machines and overlockers.

• A basic service includes thorough clean and lubrication of the internal workings of the machine to ensure continued performance. 

• An intermediate service will allow for any standard adjustments to be made to the machine where functions have become out of time or alignment. 

• Advanced services are those requiring replacement parts. Certain advanced services may be beyond Bek's aquisition, in which case she will consult with the owner on the best course of action.

*Prices provided are a guide only. Cost of service will be quoted on inspection of the machine and determination of level of service provided.
